  • On 15 June 2018 we took part in a Tribute to Pamela O'Malley on the occasion of Bloomsday 2018 organised by the Embassy of Ireland, El Ateneo de Madrid and The Bloomsday Society. The event took place at Ateneo de Madrid, c/ Prado 21, Madrid. Pamela was a colleague and great friend of ours; it was wonderful to dedicate our programme to her memory. The programme took us out of our usual groove and gave Rosanna the opportunity to perform two beautiful parlour songs, "Love's Old Sweet Song" and "I Wish that I Dwelt in Marble Halls" in the Ateneo's incomparable auditorium.
  • 11 November 2017, Teatro Jacinto Benavente, Galapagar, Madrid. What a delight to play at the Teatro Jacinto Benavente again! And to a full house. It was great to perform with Compañía Trotadanzas, who did dances from Scotland, England and Ireland to great acclaim. Marvellous to have Bill and Sheila from Ipswich with us singing English traditional songs, too. Thanks to Juan de la Concepción we even had our first foray into Flamenco. Our thanks to Concha at the Town Hall and to all the members of the Peña Flamenca for their support. Not to forget the brilliant sound job done by Tomás.
  • 14 October 2017, Valencia Max Max. Back to Max Max for a reunion concert with founder member John O'Dwyer and early member Matt Early. We also shared the bill with long time friends Les Tamalus from London. Huge thanks to all who travelled to Valencia for this event (John from Ankara; Matt, Han, David and Cath from London; Peter and Susan from Ciboure; Judy from Vigo; Charo, Ana, Encarnita, Pilar, Marlene, Moira and Rosa from Madrid; Judith and José Manuel from Tarragona). Thanks to all our friends in Valencia (Grupo Samain, Whistling Thieves and Thirty Silver Coins) who came along and, once more, made us so welcome. And, of course, here's a health to our landlord, Toni, with thanks for hosting the whole thing.
  • 14 May 2016, Valencia Max Max. Fantastic to be back playing in Valencia with a Class A welcome from Grupo Samain, Thirty Silver Coins and The Whistling Thieves. A delightful audience, who listened to the quiet songs and stomped with the rowdy ones. Thanks to all who came, took photos and videos (see under the Music tab) and made us feel so welcome. Special thanks to Toni Max Max for inviting us to play.
  • 13 March 2016, Irish Embassy Ireland Day at Parque Deportivo Puerta de Hierro. Again great fun to play at this event and see all the families enjoying a beautifully sunny St Patrick's Day in the open air. Wonderful to accompany Irish Treble as they taught a huge crowd of youngsters to dance the Virginia Reel and a polka.
  • December 2015, Ayuntamiento de Madrid / Irish Embassy Christmas Fair at Conde Duque Cultural Centre. Marvellous to play at this prestigious venue with Irish Treble to add their magic to the jigs and reels.
  • 15 March 2015, Irish Embassy Ireland Day at Parque Deportivo Puerta de Hierro. We were very pleased to be part of this huge event and had great fun playing some old favourites for an appreciative crowd.
  • 14 March 2015, Teatro Las Cigueñas, Hoyo de Manzanares. We sang several new songs and thoroughly enjoyed playing at this charming venue. Great to see a packed house enjoying the music and the craic. Many thanks to Juan de Orduña and Ayuntamiento de Hoyo de Manzanares as well as to our many friends, old and new, who swelled the audience.
  • 27 February 2015, Escuela Oficial de Idiomas de Vallecas. It was marvellous to play again for our friends at this school. Huge thanks to Yolanda for organising yet again. A special night for us as we were joined by Irish Treble Dancers, who gave a great show. Thanks to them for the photos.
  • 11 April 2014, 21.30h - James Joyce Irish bar, c/Alcalá, 59, Madrid - right next to Cibeles. A wonderful session with Rachel on blistering form.
  • 4 April 2014, 19h - Escuela Oficial de Idiomas, Another delightful evening with Over the Moon and a charming audience in Vallecas. Special thanks to Yolanda for organising.
  • 15 March 2014, 19h - Galapagar. A great evening with the East Suffolk Morris Men. Many thanks to La Peña Flamenca and Ayuntamiento for their support.
